In class: Label ISN (Interactive Student Notebook) pages done so far, begin "Photo Project" with small group analysis and discussion of who is in the photos, when the photos were taken, where the photos were taken, and what they had in common

Thursday
In class: Photo Project--begin searching ushmm.org to find a photo taken in Europe prior to 1933 that is a close match to a photo you have at home, print this photo with necessary caption information at school if ready
HW: Print photo with necessary caption information from the ushmm.org website and bring it along with your photo match from home to class tomorrow, Reading Log #1 due Fri. 9/18 on Google Classroom
Friday
In class: Photo Project--create a "parallel poster" with your photo from home and the one printed from ushmm.org, include a written caption for your own photo, read the "real story" of the person/people in the ushmm.org photo you selected & take notes to share with the class, reflect on the purpose of this project in writing
